Excellent food, just excellent. Had the strawberry cream wheat beer, husband got a flight of beer. The peanut butter stout really tasted like peanut butter. All the farm to table food was very fresh. Had a caprese salad, pizza ( got the Bee Sting but 2nd choice was the roasted elk), and the chopped cheese. Best we ever had, so light and not greasy and heavy and we’re from NY the home of chopped cheese. Server was friendly and knew a little ASL which always helps. Lucky find passing through the really cool town of Lava Hot Springs, this bistro and brew pub delivered on their reputation. Great food options, locally sourced ingredients, and a fabulous selection of beers on tap (plus many other options). The Puff Puff Smash IPA was particularly delicious. Hat tip to Cody and the rest of the staff too, genuine hospitality and really nice folks. We ordered from the extensive beer list and had mushroom Mac n cheese which was awesome comfort food, a berry salad which was delicious and a mushroom wood fired pizza also yummy. Our server Colleen was super friendly!
